The Italo-Canadian Club of Kingston opens its kitchen to a handful of guests at a time so the club's Nonne can teach the way they learned: flour and eggs worked into dough by hand, rolled and cut into fettuccine, and a pot of tomato sauce built alongside it. The afternoon runs about four hours for a group of three to five, and the price of $150 plus HST includes a cooking-with-Nonne apron to keep, a glass of wine while you work, and the pasta and sauce you made to take home. Dates appear on the club's events calendar, where the club also runs its all-you-can-eat pasta nights and Italian community dinners.
