Ennio's is a family-owned pasta house, and the Waterloo room on King Street North is one of three the family runs, alongside Kitchener and Listowel. The cooking is the Italian-Canadian pasta repertoire done with care — sauces built from scratch, generous plates, a short list of secondi — in a room that has fed Waterloo students, faculty and families for years. It opens late afternoon Monday and Tuesday, serves lunch and dinner from Wednesday through Saturday, and runs a Sunday dinner service.
