Penelope Social runs two businesses in one room: a café and bakehouse from nine in the morning, with sourdough focaccia sandwiches, pizza by the slice and pastries from the bakery next door; and a bar from five, with cocktails, Italian wine and a short dinner menu of shareables and pizza. It is the most contemporary Italian address in Woodbridge and the one that suits a drink after work rather than a family lunch. Closed Sunday nights.
